"Spectrum House" reflects its diverse and vibrant use of colors, embodying a wide spectrum of hues throughout its design. Each color within this spectrum symbolizes a unique emotion, mood, or aspect of family life. The intentional incorporation of a broad range of colors signifies the richness and depth of experiences within the home, fostering a dynamic and harmonious environment.

SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT:

Spectrum House, initially a two separated building block, was seamlessly integrated into one cohesive living space upon its existing structures. The residence establishes distinct yet functional zoning, with leisure activities allocated to the left wing and family communal spaces centered on the right. This layout fosters a profound sense of privacy and security while allowing flexibility to accommodate guests in the adjacent wing. The design reconnects the two blocks with a new double volume activity lounge as it center core, serving as both linkage and a transitional space between the two zones.

DANCING LIGHT

The design portrays the striking vision of a serene yet vibrant playground for the children of the family. Spectrum House boldly weaves a vibrant spectrum into its facade and interior, inter-playing with lights and shadow that transform the spaces into into a living canvas of light and color that evolves with the sun's movement throughout the day. This creates an interactive experience between the residents and the architecture. The spiral staircase, with its clean white finish and deliberately designed porous plane, allows colorful rays from the adjacent window screens to gently wash over the interior walls and the staircase itself. This uplifts the interior but also breathe life into the home, enriching the user experience via stunning masterpiece of light and color.

UNION OF INDDOR ELEGANCE AND OUTDOOR BLISS:

The design transcends traditional interior boundaries by seamlessly integrating natural elements like daylight, landscape vista and interconnected family areas with outdoor spaces. This fluid transition between indoor and outdoor environments blurs its boundary fostering a harmonious living experience with nature. The dwelling deploys expansive opening seamlessly connect the family spaces to the outdoor pool and pavilions, surrounded by greener. These generous openings invite warm natural daylight to embrace the interior, setting a fitting environment for family bonds to flourish.

CHARM IN SUSTAINABILITY:

The design goes beyond creative expression to making a bold statement for architectural sustainability. It emphasizes passive design strategies for tropical living, optimizing layout orientation and opening placement to capture prevailing wind. Additionally, all products and materials are meticulously selected for their low thermal transfer value and minimal environmental impact during installation and production. Spectrum House also adopts renewable energy sources and sustainable construction practices. These efforts have earned Spectrum House a Platinum rating, the highest accolade from GreenRe (Malaysia's Green Building Certification Body).

In whole, as the name encapsulates the essence of the design philosophy, emphasizing the varied and colorful tapestry that defines the architectural and emotional landscape of Spectrum House signifying the richness and depth of experiences within the home. Spectrum House is a bold manifestation of a design piece that stands firm as a statement of both a functioning space and a art piece that evoke emotion of those who experience it.
