Located in Zapopan, Jalisco, the project was conceived with the intention of providing a new home for the integral development of young players and acting as an architectural landmark that embraces the tradition and future of one of Mexico’s most long-lived teams.

“One of the biggest challenges in the design process was coordinating the wide range of services that come together inside. In response, we proposed an efficient modular system to offer dynamic and flexible spaces. We want this project to speak about its surroundings, so we made use of local materials and construction processes.”

Within the seven-hectare site, in addition to the six professional fields, the complex will bring together the soccer club, clubhouses for the various teams, facilities for applied sports science, administrative and sports offices, plus complementary services in a single building.

Reflecting the scale of this program and with the aim of bringing the green areas inside, each volume has its own hierarchy and geometry, all under a reticulated roof that surrounds each block.

This high-performance center will represent an investment of more than US$ 15 million, generating direct and indirect jobs for the inhabitants of Jalisco.
