The Masterplan for the Hotel and Golf Club in Valle de Bravo is an ambitious renovation and expansion project of over 7,900 m² that aimed to transform the project comprehensively. Beyond renovating the buildings, the plan defined how they relate to one another, organizing uses, views, green areas, and services. The intervention prioritized restoration over demolition, minimizing environmental impact and preserving its history, which spans more than 60 years. This includes the original design by Arnold Noldi Schreck, the involvement of José Luis Chain, and the subsequent intervention by Francisco Artigas.

 

The planning sought to respond to the growing demands of different users, including convention attendees, hotel guests, and club members, aiming to offer them functional and modern spaces.

 

 

 

The main challenge was achieving a harmonious integration of styles due to the various periods of construction the hotel has undergone. To address this, classic elements such as red brick and tiled roofs were preserved and incorporated into a contemporary language. This strategy allowed the identity of the place to be maintained while updating it to current needs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The project ranges from the renovation of the cabins and sports areas to the development of new buildings such as the clubhouse, restaurant, bar, shops, convention center, and new guest rooms, resulting in a project that blends modernity with the hotel's historical past.
