The Studio Formafantasma designed Pigmento collection combines contemporary design with glassmaking tradition. Formed from mouth-blown crystalline glass, the pieces display a sandblasted look and subtle nuances in colour. The pigment is hand-sprayed onto the finished product so no two pieces are alike, adding intriguing irregularities to a dining setting.  

Known for their experimental work, Italian design duo Studio Formafantasma apply rigorous attention to context, processes and details when creating their designs. Through research-based practice, their projects investigate the relationship between traditional and local culture as well as the ecological, historical, political and social forces shaping the discipline of design today.
