In a destination known for its postcard-perfect whitewashed minimalism, Neema Maison Santorini breaks away from the expected. Designed by Urban Soul Project (USP) for Neema – Domes Resorts, this bold new hotel offers an immersive, fashion-forward hospitality experience that reimagines what a stay in Santorini can look and feel like.

The brief was simple: «Design something that stands out». The result is not your typical island retreat, but a space where architecture, fashion, and nature collide in an expressive, curated narrative.
A Space That Performs
At the heart of the concept is a sculptural metal “thread”, a continuous design gesture that weaves through the hotel like a line drawing in motion. It begins at reception, forming part of the joinery, outlining architectural elements, and culminating in a striking wall installation inspired by fashion illustration and textile craft. This bold feature sets the tone: a space not just designed, but choreographed.

The brand’s signature red hue plays a starring role as a confident protagonist. Red is the colour that also frames the reception area, appears across joinery and furnishings, and cuts through textured neutrals with deliberate rhythm, adding structure and identity.
Fashion Meets Function
As the journey moves towards the pool, the story becomes softer but no less defined. A custom tile pattern, derived from Neema’s woven brand motif, animates the pool area. Organic forms take over: sculptural sunbeds and a dramatic bar that doubles as centerpiece.

Here, materiality becomes language: plaster, wood, stone, and fabric engage in a tactile dialogue with light and shadow, transforming the outdoor space into a stylized, almost theatrical set.

Guest Rooms as Fashion Frames
Guest rooms continue the story from a more intimate angle, designed as if staged for a fashion shoot. Lighting, textures, and layout are intentionally composed to make the guest feel like the main character in a curated moment. Dressing-room-inspired vanity lights, tile patterns that recall fabric swatches, and bold custom furniture bring editorial energy into the private sphere.

The signature red returns, this time subtly woven into headboards, bathroom details, and furniture accents. Everywhere, the brand pattern is integrated into surfaces, panels, and built-ins, an element felt more than seen.

Redefining Hospitality Through Design
Neema Maison Santorini is not about fitting in, it’s about standing out. It draws on the raw textures of nature, the expressive energy of fashion, and the thoughtful choreography of space to offer something far more compelling than the typical Cycladic stay.

This is architecture as experience, design as identity, and hospitality as performance. It is a new chapter in island living, designed by Urban Soul Project.
